Xinsha Bridge on Nansan Highway resumes 2-way traffic

The construction of the south side of Xinsha Bridge on Nansan Highway (Nantou to Huangpu section) was completed and opened to traffic on July 2. Since then, two-way traffic has resumed on the bridge.

Xinsha Bridge is a part of the Huangpu viaduct. It is a two-way six-lane first-class highway and urban expressway, with a speed limit of 60 km/h on the main line and 30 km/h on its auxiliary lanes. The viaduct has a total length of 1,735 meters, with Xinsha Bridge over crossing the Huangpu Waterway.

The renovation of Nansan Highway (Nantou to Huangpu section) involves Nantou and Huangpu towns, with a total length of 10.5 km. The main line is constructed in accordance with the standards of two-way six-lane first-class highway and urban expressway.
