ZS swimmer Wang Xue'er wins bronze medal at Paris 2024

Early in the morning on August 5, Beijing time, the United States claimed the gold medal by setting a new world record in the women's 4x100m medley relay final at the Paris Olympics, clocking 3 minutes 49.63 seconds. Australia took silver, while China's Wan Letian, Tang Qianting, Zhang Yufei and Yang Junxuan pocketed bronze.

Zhongshan swimmer Wang Xue'er took part in the preliminary contest. Following the rules, she also secured a bronze medal in this event. It is the first Olympic swimming medal ever won by an athlete from Zhongshan in history.
