The new Guzhen People's Hospital in Zhongshan is under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year. At that time, the current Guzhen People's Hospital will be fully relocated.

The new hospital is located to the north of Zhongxing Avenue, adjacent to the Zhongshan Guzhen Green Expo Garden. Currently, about 70% of the decoration has been completed.

With an investment of over 700 million yuan, the new Guzhen People's Hospital will have 800 beds. It includes a 4-storey outpatient building, a 5-storey medical technology building, a 15-storey inpatient building, a 6-storey parking building, and a 2-storey fever clinic building. It is the first prefabricated medical construction project in Zhongshan.

In June of this year, Guzhen People's Hospital and Zhongshan People's Hospital established a tightly-knit medical alliance for sharing and utilization of medical resources.
