Previously on July 12, "Ocean X" that was independently developed by the Zhongshan-based Mingyang Group made debut in Guangzhou's Nansha. Later on August 11, "OceanX" set sail from the Nansha Port.

"Ocean X" features a V-shaped arrangement and is equipped with two 8.3 MW offshore wind turbines. With a total capacity of 16.6 MW, it can be applied to any ocean areas worldwide with water depth over 35 meters.

"Ocean X" is projected to generate approximately 54 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, which can meet the daily electricity needs of 30,000 families of three for a year.
