The 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan) TCM Forum opened in Zhongshan on September 1. More than 200 guests from Zhongshan, Hong Kong, Macao and other GBA cities were invited to discuss the high-quality development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry.

Zhongshan was selected as a national demonstration pilot city for the inheritance and innovative development of TCM and a national TCM inheritance and innovation development pilot zone respectively in 2023 and 2024. The forum was held to promote the exchange and mutual learning of the latest achievements in TCM within the Greater Bay Area and boost the deep integration of TCM with modern technology.

Many well-known experts and scholars in TCM gave lectures at the forum and offered suggestions on promoting the development of TCM in the Greater Bay Area. Guests also visited the Zhongshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Zhongzhi Pharmaceutical company for exchanges.
