The 2024 Zhongshan Sanxiang Half Marathon was held on the morning of November 3, with more than 6,000 marathon lovers from across the country create a running feast full of vitality and passion in Sanxiang Town.

The competition has three events, namely the Half Marathon (21.0975 km), the Healthy Run (about 10 km) and the Happy Run (about 5 km). Runners from core cities in the Pearl River Delta, such as Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, Macao and Hong Kong, and foreign runners from France, South Korea, the United States and Japan took active part in the events.

While enjoying the race, marathon lovers could also appreciate the scenery blending the past and the present of the town by visiting famous scenic spots, such as Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort and Tanggan Twelve Warriors Park, and characteristic villages, such as Yongmo and Tanggan.

Finally. Cui Weikang from Nanchang, Jiangxi province won the men's half marathon championship with a time of 1 hour 10 minutes 6 seconds, and He Fang from Jiangmen, Guangdong province won the women's championship with a time of 1 hour 19 minutes 23 seconds.
