November 12 marked the 158th anniversary of Sun Yat-sen's birth and the 90th anniversary of the founding of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School. Thousands of alumni returned from all over the world to the school with sincere blessings for their alma mater.

Dr Jonathan Choi, a Standing Committee member of the CPPCC and chairman of Sunwah Group, donated one million yuan to the Jonathan Choi Foundation of the school. His son Jason Choi was also appointed as the chairman of the school's international cultural exchange association.

A series of activities, including art performances, the unveiling ceremony of the school history museum, the launch ceremony of cultural and creative products, and "Happy Photo-taking", were held for the anniversary celebration.
