The finals of the 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition took place in Guanzhou's Nansha district from November 23 to 25. Zhongshan secured one gold, one silver and one bronze awards, achieving the best results in its history.

This competition covered 7 fields, including next-generation information technology, semiconductor and integrated circuit, biomedicine and massive health and high-end equipment manufacturing, with over 200 high-level projects advancing to the finals.

Eight projects from Zhongshan advanced to the finals. Zhongshan Public Urban Drainage Co Ltd won the gold solution award, Zhongshan RabPharma won the silver award of the venture competition, and Guangdong Kunzhite Machine Life Research Co Ltd won the bronze award of the venture competition.

During the event, 7 technology incubators and investment and financing institutions in Zhongshan, including ZOS Park, engaged in matchmaking with over 10 projects. Guangdong Gauvey Co Ltd reached concluded 5 intended projects, covering such emerging industries as next-generation information technology, new materials and new energy, with a financing amount of 60 million yuan.
