A research report on Guangdong's top 500 manufacturing enterprises for 2024 was released during the recent Guangdong Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises Summit.

According to the report, the total operating revenue of Guangdong's top 500 manufacturing enterprises in 2024 reached 5.325 trillion yuan, down 4.9% from a year earlier. In contrast, their total net profit rose 16.56% from 2023 to 333.936 billion yuan.

Huawei, BYD, Foxconn, Midea, GIIHG, Luxshare, Gree, TCL, GAC and ZTE ranked in the top 10 of the list.

Compared with last year, Zhongshan has one more enterprise making the top 500 list, with a total of 16 enterprises including Broad Ocean and Hawley & Hazel Chemical in the list.

The top 3 companies in Zhongshan are Broad Ocean (39th), Hawley & Hazel Chemical (128th) and Lanju (167th).

Other companies in the list include Nox Bellcow, Jongtay, Hewo Electronic Tech, Piano, Huasheng Furniture, Jianglong Shipbuilding, Dious, Gokeng, Yingma, Lifesense, Sally, RSR and JM.

These 16 Zhongshan enterprises are engaged in such domains as new energy, household appliances, furniture, electronic information, game and amusement, and food.

Compared with last year, the average operating income of Zhongshan enterprises listed saw a year-on-year growth of 43.4%.
