The award ceremony of the 6th "My China Story" International Short Video Competition recently took place in Harbin. The "Zhongshan & Its Sister Cities" series won the Best Video Award, and the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee was awarded the special honor award.

The "Zhongshan & Its Sister Cities" short video series highlighted the relationship and exchanges between Zhongshan and four of its sister cities, including Honolulu (USA), Burnaby and Markham (Canada), and Moriguchi (Japan). Foreign bloggers, scholars and professionals were invited to probe into the stories in ecological protection, people-to-people exchanges, industrial cooperation, sports and food, culture and tourism, and other topics, showing the global audience a trustworthy, lovable, respectable China through Zhongshan.

The program was launched in 2023, and the videos have been broadcast not only on such new media platforms at home and abroad as Zhongshan Plus, YouTube, Facebook, Tencent Video and bilibili, but also on state-level new agencies and mainstream media websites across five continents, including Associated Press, Deutsche Presse-Agentur and Australian Associated Press. The videos have been posted and re-posted for 3,586 times and have got 98.04 million views.
