A new cultural landmark of Zhongshan, the Xiangshan Academy, was unveiled in the Jinzhong Lake National Forest Park on January 1.

The Xiangshan Academy consists of 3 building complexes, namely the Xianglin Pavilion, the Nanshan Bamboo Yard and the East Square.

The Xianglin Pavilion is a library for cultural inheritance, housing a number of documents and books about Xiangshan culture, Lingnan culture and Chinese civilization. Residents can enjoy beautiful scenery while reading books here.

The Nanshan Bamboo Yard is a venue for holding lectures and cultural exchanges. Readers can embark on a journey of history and listen to scholars and experts' remarkable insights.

The Xiangshan Youth Hall and the Xiangshan Youth Education Practice Base in the East Square provide venues for teenagers to do reading, study and communicate with others.

The Xiangshan Academy is also surrounded by multiple cultural venues, such as the Jinzhong Lake Xiangshan Study, the Zhongshan Meteorological Science Museum and the Zhongshan Planetarium, jointly forming a complex for civilization practice.
