The annual Zhongshan Charity Parade will be held on February 12, namely the 15th day of the first lunar month. The parade will start from Chenggui Road, opposite the Zhongshan Culture & Art Center, and end at the intersection of Xingzhong Avenue and Zhongshan Road.

The expected total number of participants for the 2.5-hour event will reach 15,000. Additionally, 13 intangible cultural heritage performance areas will be set up along the parade route, and more than 20 intangible cultural heritage teams will showcase their talents both stationary and during the parade.

From 7:00 am on February 12, temporary traffic control measures will be put in place on relevant roads and areas, with an estimated conclusion around noon. Details are as follows.

Starting from 7:00 AM until all the parade teams have left the starting point on Feb 12

• From the Shunxing East Road-Gongyuan Road intersection to the memorial archway of Sun Wen Memorial Park;

• From the entrance of Youya Cuiyuan Community to the Langui Road-Gongyuan Road intersection;

• From the Xingwen Road-Chenggui Highway intersection through the memorial archway of Sun Wen Memorial Park to the Bo'ai Road-Xingzhong Avenue intersection;
  

The aforementioned sections will be fully closed to traffic, allowing only exits and no entries. Social vehicles are prohibited from entering these areas from the Bo'ai 4th Road side road (turn right from west to east), the traffic lights on the Bo'ai 5th Road-Xingzhong Avenue intersection (turn left), Langui Road, Gongyuan Road, Xingwen Road, Chenggui Highway, and Wenyun Street.

Starting from 8:30 am until the event's conclusion on Feb 12

Xingzhong Avenue from the Bo'ai Road intersection to the Baiyuan Road-Songyuan Road intersection, including:

• The north-south entrance at the intersection of Xingzhong Avenue and Baiyuan Road, Songyuan Road;

• The Bo'ai 4th Road Youya Cuiyuan Community side road entrance;

• The Bo'ai 5th Road CNPC Gas Station side road entrance;

• From the Tiyu Road-Yintong Street intersection to Xingzhong Avenue;

• From the Dongyu Road-Xingzhong Avenue intersection to Kuchong Street;

• From the Zhongshan Road-Yintong Street intersection to Dongyuan South Road (including the Zhongshan 3rd Road tunnel);

• From the Zhongshan 3rd Road-Tiyu Street intersection to Tiyu Road;

• From the Huaxia Street-Yintong Street intersection to Xingyue Street;

• From the Zhongshan 3rd Road-Xingyue Street intersection to Tiyu Street;

• The Xingzhong Avenue-Xinghua Street intersection;

• The Xingzhong Avenue Kuchongkuxi Street intersection;

• From the Xingzhong Avenue-Cuixing Street intersection to the Cuixing Street-Cuiying Street intersection;

• The Kuchong Street-Zhongshan 4th Road intersection;

• The Yinhe Street-Zhongshan 4th Road intersection;

• The Caihong Street-Zhongshan 4th Road intersection;

Fully-enclosed traffic control will be implemented on these sections. Vehicles are prohibited to enter these areas through all intersections on Xingzhong Avenue as well as through the entrances of enterprises, public institutions and residential communities. Social vehicles are prohibited from passing through these road sections, except for those involved in emergency medical treatment, emergency rescue and event-related work.

Starting from 6:00 PM on Feb 11 to 7:00 AM on Feb 12

Temporary traffic control will be in effect in the parking areas of Xingzhong Stadium, Xingzhong Gymnasium, Sun Wen Memorial Park, Zhongshan Culture & Art Center and Zhongshan No. 1 Middle School, as well as on Gongyuan Road (Shunxing East Road-Chenggui Road section), Tiyu Street, Tiyu Bystreet, Xingyue Street, Cuiying Street, Wenyun Street, and the section from the Zhongshan 3rd Road-Yintong Street intersection to the Zhongshan 4th Road-Dongyuan South Road intersection. Temporary parking is prohibited for social vehicles.

The traffic police authorities will flexibly adjust the traffic control measures based on actual circumstances to minimize the impact on citizens' travel.
