"So far, we have developed a marketing network that covers more than 100 countries and regions worldwide," said Zhao Yong, general manager of Zhongshan-based company XSTO Co Ltd, at the city-wide high-quality development conference on February 6. "Our goal this year is to achieve a doubling and leapfrog growth, contributing our due share to the city's high-quality development."

Since its establishment in 2014, XSTO has attached great importance to independent technology accumulation, and 30% of the company's employees are research staff. XSTO has built three major technology platforms, for motion control, intelligent unmanned operation and all-terrain design respectively.

After 10 years of research and development, the company has applied for more than 200 patents, including 11 PCT international invention patents, domestic invention patents and utility model patents.

Thanks to its technology accumulation and breakthroughs, XSTO has maintained a leading position in the material-handling robot field for many years.

Over the past year, XSTO has developed multiple models of all-terrain material-handling robots, such as the self-balancing delivery vehicle, the electric lifting and traction equipment and the stair-climbing robot, which are widely used in sectors such as industry, warehousing and catering.
