Progress has been made in the construction of Nansha-Zhongshan Intercity Railway Zhongshan section. The right tunnel between Qijiang New Town Station and Qijiang Avnue Station was connected on February 24.

This shield section is 700 meters long, and the tunneling work was completed with two shield machines with a diameter of 8.8 meters.

This is the first station-to-station tunnel fully connected in the Zhongshan section. It is an actual test of the design and construction plan and provides working conditions for the subsequent track laying, power supply system installation and signal system debugging.
