The spring fishing ban in the Pearl River basin began at 00:00 on March 1 and will end at 24:00 on June 30.

During this period, all fishing activities, except for recreational fishing, will be prohibited in all inland waters and lakes in Zhongshan, mainly including Xiaolan Waterway, Jiya Waterway, Hongqili Waterway, Hengmen Waterway, Modaomen Waterway and their tributaries.
