The Zhongshan Torch Development Zone New Energy Technology Industry R&D and Manufacturing Base has recently commenced construction in the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Cooperation and Innovation Zone.

The project, invested in and constructed by Zhongshan Torch Industry Group, involves a total investment of 1 billion yuan and covers an area of 75 mu (50,000 square meters). It plans to build a 32,000-square-meter high-standard industrial facility that focuses on cutting-edge fields such as new energy optoelectronic materials and new energy equipment.

The base has already introduced the Hiking PV battery production project.

As the first enterprise in China specialized in the development of high-efficiency multilayer solar cells, Hiking PV has obtained 119 international patents, and it is a world leader in outdoor stability testing of technology.

With 250MW production lines for perovskite crystalline silicon solar cells and 500MW assembly production lines, the Hiking PV project will significantly enhance the Greater Bay Area's competitiveness in new energy technology transformation.
