When Rose Hung reunited with her family in her hometown, the 78-year-old cried like a child. Siblings embraced each other tightly.

Among the five brothers and sisters, Xiao Shaohua, 88, lives in China, and Jung Sue, 83, resides in New Zealand.

Hearing that Jung Sue would return to the hometown during the Qingming Festival holiday this year, Rose Hung and two younger brothers, who live in Australia, Canada and the US respectively, decided to come back for the reunion.

On the morning of the Qingming Festival, the family that had overcome the barriers of time and space finally sat together to have breakfast in the ancestral house in Nanwen Village in Zhongshan's Dachong Town.
