The bridge over the Gangkou River along the northside road of the Zhongshan OCT Harbour Joy Land park was connected early on April 14.

With a total length of 150 meters, the bridge design draws inspiration from a flying bird spreading its wings.

The northside road stretches from Qifeng Road in the west to Xinggang South Road in the east, with a design speed of 40 km/h. The two-way four-lane road, 1.06 kilometers in length, is expected to open to traffic in June.

Upon completion, the road will reduce travel time between the two sides of the Gangkou River to 3 minutes, benefiting over 50,000 residents in 12 nearby communities.
