New tourism landmark to be built on old granary

Zhongshan's ZJB Enterprise Group signed an agreement with a design company in Jiangmen city on April 16. The two sides will jointly develop the "Minzhong Green Belt" Haikou Granary riverside landscape project in Minzhong, Torch Development Zone.

The Haikou Granary project is located in the 5-kilometer ecological "Minzhong Green Belt" along the Hengmen Waterway. It borders a bald cypress forest near the Nansha-Zhongshan Expressway to the east, and connects with a wetland park near the Guangzhou-Macao Expressway to the west.

With a total investment of 300 million yuan, it will provide a 200-mu culture and tourism space that covers 5 commercial activity venues, including a the century-old kapok cafe, the wetland park fishing campsite, and the grassland music market.
