The main tower of the Jiya Waterway Grand Bridge, a key structure of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway, was topped out on May 1, marking the commencement of the steel beam erection phase for the bridge's main structure.

The Jiya Waterway Grand Bridge spans 6,896.185 meters, with its main bridge situated between Minzhong Sub-district (Torch Development Zone) and Gangkou Town.

The 788.9-meter main bridge is a double-pylon double-cable-plane composite beam cable-stayed bridge. It is China's first long-span high-speed railway cable-stayed bridge featuring double-sided steel-concrete composite box girder construction.

The main towers reach 140 meters, equivalent to a 47-story building.
