July 19 marked the conclusion of the 2025 Guangdong Youth Baseball Championship, a trial event for the 15th National Games' baseball competition, at Zhongshan International Baseball and Softball Center.

The six-day tournament drew 14 teams from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Zhongshan, Dongguan, Zhaoqing, Maoming and Qingyuan, uniting over 240 young athletes. 

Zhongshan swept Group A and B titles while securing the overall team championship.

On August 4, the Guangdong Youth Softball Championship will follow at the same venue.
