According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics Guangdong Survey Team, Guangdong residents' per capita disposable income reached 28,343 yuan in the first half of 2025, marking a 4.5% year-on-year nominal growth. After adjusting for inflation, real income expanded 4.9%.

Urban residents posted 33,918 yuan in disposable income, up 4.0% YoY, while rural counterparts reached 14,624 yuan, up 5.7% YoY.

Breaking down income sources: wage income averaged 19,272 yuan (up 4.9% YoY), net operating income hit 3,414 yuan (up 4.9% YoY), property income reached 3,725 yuan (up 2.2% YoY), and transfer income totaled 1,933 yuan (up 4.6% YoY).

Consumer spending averaged 18,434 yuan per capita, up 4.9% YoY. Meanwhile, the consumer price index (CPI) dipped 0.4% year-on-year.

During the first half, Guangdong's producer price index (PPI) edged down 1.3% YoY, while the industrial purchaser price index (IPI) declined 2.6% YoY.
