H.E. Robert Lee, Fijian ambassador to China, and his delegation visited Zhongshan on July 24.

Robert Lee, whose ancestral home is in Zhongshan's Dachong, has developed profound emotional ties to his hometown under his father's legacy of philanthropic education initiatives. He previously accompanied his father on a roots-seeking journey to Zhongshan.

Lee said he aims to enhance cooperation between Zhongshan and Fiji in education, economy, tourism and cultural exchanges. He seeks to foster friendly ties across city-rural levels and invites Zhongshan residents to invest in Fiji.
