The first phase of the Situ Suli industrial park renovation project in Zhongshan's South District was topped out on August 20.

Situated in Liaohou Village, the site spans 17.73 mu (1.18 ha) and previously contained 25 dilapidated structures with mere 9,010 square meters floor area generating 1.5 million yuan annual output value.

The 88.65 million yuan redevelopment will expand built space to 23,050 square meters while targeting 106.38 million yuan annual output. It will prioritize new materials, electronic components, next-gen IT and other industries.

Demolition for the second phase will commence after the first phase is put into operation.
