The finals of men's mass five-player basketball of the 15th National Games started in Zhongshan on September 4 and will run through September 10.

On the opening night, matches in Groups B and C took the spotlight. Guangdong triumphed over Guangxi with a score of 87-58 in Group B, while in Group C, Guangdong secured victory against Zhejiang, winning 86-52, marking a promising start for the host province. 

This tournament has attracted 30 teams nationwide, categorized into three age groups: Group A (25-34 years old), Group B (35-44 years old), and Group C (45-60 years old). The matches are being held at various venues including Shaxi Gymnasium, Qinggang Sports Park, South District Hengmei Court, Zhongshan Gymnasium, and Shaxi Longrui Basketball Court.
