The main structure of Xingzhong Station of the Nanzhong Intercity Railway was topped out on September 10, transitioning into the construction phase of auxiliary facilities. Previously, Qijiang New Town Station (formerly known as Shijilu Station), Zhongshan Station and Huoju Station had all completed their capping works.

Xingzhong Station spans 476.31 meters in length and 22.5 meters in width, with a main building area of 22,300 square meters. Situated in the bustling core of downtown Zhongshan, the station boasts a strong surrounding commercial atmosphere and heavy traffic flow.
