Guangdong province raised its wind emergency response to the highest level at 10 am Tuesday, as Typhoon Ragasa is forecast to make landfall along the central or western coastal areas of the province as a strong or super strong typhoon within 24 hours.

Zhongshan has already announced the suspension of classes on September 23 and 24. Starting the evening of September 23, the city will implement the "five suspensions" measure, including suspending classes, work, production, transport and business operations citywide.

Outdoor

• Stay away from falling objects, seek solid shelter.

• Never walk through floodwater; beware of electrocution.

• Avoid billboards, trees, and power lines.

Indoor

• Close all windows and doors. Tape windows for reinforcement.

• Prepare emergency supplies: food, water, and a flashlight.

• Stay away from windows. Stay inside.

In the Wild

• Stop all activities. Hide in a low place.

• Stay away from steep slopes. Beware of landslides.

• Do not hide on hilltops or in small sheds.

After the Typhoon

• Pay close attention to traffic conditions.

• Don't connect wires randomly.

• Remove garbage quickly to prevent diseases.
