Typhoon Ragasa, the 18th typhoon of the year, brought heavy rainfall to Zhongshan on September 24. Facing the fierce storm, city's gardening, urban management, sanitation and other departments and emergency medical teams stood fast at the front lines, conducting rescue, disaster relief and typhoon preparedness operations to form a robust "safety shield" for residents.
