An exchange forum on creating a smart ecosystem for home lighting was held at Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on October 23, the second day of the 33rd China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair (GILF). Industry leaders including China Telecom, Xiaomi and Opple gathered to explore the new trend of smart ecosystem building.
At the sharing session, corporate representatives explored technology implementation and ecosystem collaboration. China Telecom pinpointed policy opportunities in green intelligent lighting, Opple shared its digital transformation journey, and Xiaomi unveiled its "human-vehicle-home integrated ecosystem" strategy.
Participants agreed that smart lighting has entered the stage of ecosystem co-creation, where dismantling data silos and establishing joint standard frameworks are pivotal to driving high-quality industry development.
The event aims to drive full-chain integration of lighting with IoT technologies and boost industrial upgrades. Guzhen is now developing five major hubs for industry, trade, design, information and technology to position itself as a global lighting capital.
