Li Meini from Zhongshan, secured bronze for Guangdong in the women's lead climbing final of the 15th National Games in Guangzhou on November 13. This marked her National Games debut.

The 15-year-old is a student at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School, who started climbing at age 7 under national team coach and her PE teacher Ye Xiangyang. 

Guangdong's Zhang Yuetong won gold, with Shaanxi's Luo Zhilu taking silver.
