The first National Unicorn Enterprise Competition concluded recently in Ningbo, with Zhongshan-based tech firm Uniwatt securing the Outstanding Award.

Situated in Zhongshan Torch Industries Group's industrial park, Uniwatt specializes in R&D and commercialization of advanced compound semiconductor epitaxial wafers, chips and space energy systems. It delivers integrated power solutions for space vehicles including satellites, deep-space probes and space stations.

The company's headquarters project, located in the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Cooperative Innovation Zone, will evolve into a comprehensive hub integrating aerospace power system R&D, manufacturing and sales.
