The smart cross-border e-commerce (CBEC) supply chain project, located in Shenglong Community, Gangkou Town, Zhongshan, started construction on December 16.

The 720-million-yuan project aims to boost the community's annual collective income by 8 million yuan, generate over 30 million yuan in tax revenue, and create 2,500 jobs.
Innovatively adopting the "CBEC + high-end industrial cluster" model, the project will establish a modern logistics hub integrating smart warehousing, cross-border distribution, and supply chain finance.
Project partner Guangdong Xinxin Investment Development Co said that the initiative will integrate full supply chain processes, including storage, handling, packaging, distribution and digital processing, to deliver comprehensive supply chain services.
Xinxin and its affiliates have already built a complete modern warehousing-sorting supply chain system in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, maintaining long-term partnerships with leading logistics firms such as SF Express, JDL and Deppon Express.
