The long-anticipated Tanzhou Avenue has passed final acceptance across its entire route and opened to traffic recently.

Spanning 8.5 kilometers, the avenue features a high-standard dual 10-lane design. The newly built section traverses the Tanzhou Economic Development Zone and Zhongshan High-End Display Industrial Park, while the expanded segment runs through Tanzhou's core commercial areas, serving as a vital commuter link between Zhongshan and Zhuhai.

The opening encompasses the main carriageway, all auxiliary lanes and all entrances/exits. A 5-meter height restriction applies to the main carriageway, with overheight vehicles directed to use auxiliary lanes or take alternative routes in advance.
