Ten couples exchanged eternal vows against the backdrop of a landmark megaproject on December 29. A romantic "sea wedding" on the west artificial island of the ShenZhong Link marked the official start of its tourism operations.

After two months of trial runs, the island, integrating megaproject science education, tech study tours and romantic life experiences, has taken on a new look as a "maritime visitor hub".

The operating team is continuously refining experiences based on visitor feedback, leveraging the island's unique environment to position it as a premier wedding and photography destination.

Exploratory planning for maritime and low-altitude routes is underway, with plans to launch inter-city sightseeing cruises (Shenzhen-Zhongshan-Zhuhai) and pilot low-altitude tours.

Future enhancements include upgrading wedding facilities and expanding themed leisure offerings: sunrise sea views, island fishing, stargazing camping, and seaside intangible cultural heritage performances.
