Zhongshan's East District hosted this year's first project signing ceremony at the EFI Cloud Valley digital industrial park on January 15, securing 5 projects worth up to 600 million yuan.

The agreements span AI, high-end manufacturing, digital service platforms and others. A key signatory, Shanghai-based robotics tech firm Flexiv plans to establish its South China headquarters and manufacturing base at EFI Cloud Valley, with investment totaling 500 million yuan.

Strategically located at the junction of Changjiang North Road, Changwan Road and Dongxiang Tunnel, EFI Cloud Valley comprises two zones.

Zone A serves as the core area housing functions such as research and development, management and services. Zone B, on the other hand, is the manufacturing hub, catering to businesses of various scales involved in smart production, intelligent manufacturing and the commercialization of R&D achievements.
