"Now dogs have their own 'parking spaces' now!" Photos of creative "dog parking" recently went viral on social media platform Xiaohongshu. Some orange zones marked with cute paw prints and equipped with sturdy metal leash hooks seem to mirror human parking rules in the pet world.

In Huayuan Community in Zhongshan's East District, many pet-friendly cafes have installed such "dog parking spots."

"Pet owners can relax inside while keeping dogs safe and visible outside. It is convenient and secure," a merchant said. These spaces attract pet lovers and boost revenue.

A cafe owner also noted customers often order custom pet birthday cakes, and groups regularly host dog birthday parties. Peak-hour drink sales can be up to 2,000 yuan.
