Winter sunlight bathes the bald cypress forest along the Madafeng section of Zhongshun Embankment in Zhongshan's Gangkou Town, creating a vibrant winter tableau. On January 21, the 3rd Gangkou Bald Cypress Maillard-style Winter Carnival opened romantically amid the red-brown hues of the cypress grove.

This seven-day event offers a "daytime scenic stroll + nighttime festive frenzy" dual experience. By day, a 400-meter riverside market stretches along the embankment, bustling with visitors. As dusk descends, an immersive light show illuminates the forest canopy, with light beams weaving through branches to outline trees against the night sky.

Main stage performances run from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, January 21 to 27. Beyond the opening day's guzheng recital, the program rotates through jazz dance, children's Latin dance, solo vocals and community choirs.
