The seventh session of the 16th Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress opened at the Zhongshan Culture & Art Center on February 4.

The opening meeting was presided over by Guo Wenhai, executive chairman of the presidium, secretary of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, and director of the standing committee.

Mayor Yin Nianhong delivered the government work report. 

Deputy director of the standing committee Li Changchun presented the standing committee work report.

President of the municipal intermediate people's court Liao Wanchun delivered the court's work report, while chief prosecutor Zhou Hong of the municipal people's procuratorate presented the procuratorate's work report.
