Former ambassador of Ecuador to China Washington Hagó recently led a delegation from the Zhongshan Association of Ecuador to Zhongshan to explore industrial and cultural development.

On March 26, Hagó took a break from his schedule to visit Chadong Village in Nanlang Subdistrict—his father's hometown—to reunite with relatives. "This is my seventh visit home," he said. "The city's landscape has transformed dramatically in recent years."
