On April 22, Cherry Blossom Avenue at Ocean University of China's Laoshan campus buzzed with visitors, as the 2026 "Millions of Talents Gather in Guangdong" N-city spring recruitment fair took place as scheduled.

A total of 360 key Guangdong-based enterprises and public institutions participated in the event, with 120 setting up on-site booths. Covering Guangdong's strategic industrial clusters, such as marine economy, electronics, intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine, new energy and new materials, they offered over 13,000 high-quality positions to OUC students.

Good positions provided by 56 Zhongshan-based enterprises and public institutions drew significant attention. In particular, two PhD candidates who had taken part in the previous Shandong University job fair a day before even journeyed from Jinan to Qingdao for further insights into Zhongshan's urban environment, talent policies and employee benefits.
