Guangdong Aoling Elevator Co Ltd on May 18 held a relocation ceremony for its new global headquarters in Zhongshan's South District. This marked the official completion and launch of phase one of the Aoling intelligent elevator equipment technology park, a key investment and expansion project in Zhongshan.

Phase one spans 2 hectares, with over 30,000 square meters of factory space. Nearly 20 million yuan has been invested in automated and digital production equipment, boosting output capacity by more than 70% over the old facility.

"It will become a modern smart factory integrating marketing, intelligent manufacturing, R&D and testing, after-sales services, digital operations, and IoT monitoring," said Jiang Daibo, general manager of Aoling.

All core elevator-related operations have been moved to the new factory. The old facility will be repurposed for steel structure production for home elevators, helping the company tap into this niche market segment.

Aoling also plans to start the construction on phase two by year-end. Upon completion, the company's total capacity will be doubled or tripled.
