Zhongshan's consumer price index (CPI) stayed flat year-on-year in April 2026 but edged up 0.4% month-on-month, according to data released on April 19 by the National Bureau of Statistics Zhongshan survey team.

Food prices fell 3.8%, while non-food prices rose 0.8%. Consumer goods prices stayed unchanged, and service prices edged up 0.1%. Core CPI, excluding food and energy, also stayed flat.
