The machines hum along methodically, with robotic arms moving with pinpoint precision to independently handle everything from cell seeding and culturing to imaging and recording — all with little need for researchers to keep a constant eye on the process. This is the fully automated smart manufacturing factory built by Biotechnology company Ruleset Dynamics.
Founded in June 2024, the startup has secured a 20-million-yuan order to produce physiologically relevant intestinal organoid chips, filling a critical gap in China's industrial-scale modeling of human gut biology, accelerating drug screening for digestive diseases and next-generation therapeutics.

Currently, Ruleset Dynamics operates 1,000 square meters of standardized lab space at the Zhongshan Life Science Park. Beyond its core gut-on-a-chip platform, the automated system is capable of high‑throughput production of a wide range of organoid models, including those derived from tumors, liver and cardiac tissue, offering robust support for drug screening and disease research.
Since setting up in the park in 2024, the company has received one‑stop, full‑cycle support covering lab facilities, talent‑policy facilitation and biopharma supply‑chain collaboration.
