The opening ceremony for the new campus of the Zhongshan branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (GZUCM) was held on June 30.

Located in Dabu Village, Sanxiang Town, the branch is a modern facility of traditional Chinese medicine that features distinctive hot spring therapy within the Greater Bay Area. 

Integrating high-end diagnosis and treatment, TCM heritage, hot spring therapy and emergency rescue, it will serve as a regional medical center for southern Zhongshan.

A number of renowned TCM doctor studios were also unveiled during the ceremony, and agreements on such cooperation projects as hot spring and TCM healthcare-based preventive treatment and helicopter emergency medical rescue were signed.
