Two years after its opening, the ShenZhong (Shenzhen-Zhongshan) Link has fueled the "overnight economy" of Zhongshan's Shiqi subdistrict. From January to May this year, revenue of accommodation enterprises above designated size in the subdistrict rose 25.8% year-on-year.

Currently, Shiqi is home to 16 such enterprises, hosting such international and domestic brands as InterContinental, H World, Jin Jiang and Atour, mostly clustered around the Xiangshan Ancient City and Qijiang River.

The mid-range and upscale brands under these groups, such as JI Hotel, Orange Hotel, Vienna Hotel and Xana Hotelle, cover a full spectrum from economy to luxury, catering to diverse needs and budgets of different customer groups.
