Up to three typhoons are expected to form over the Northwest Pacific and the South China Sea in the next couple of days, according to the National Meteorological Center. The next two will be named "Noul" and "Dolphin" based on the typhoon naming list.
The Zhongshan Meteorological Observatory forecasts moderate thunderstorms with heavy to torrential downpours in some areas over the coming days, driven by southwesterly airflow. From July 23 to 25, the city will see mainly cloudy skies with occasional showers and thundershowers, and temperatures will gradually rise.
