Once a key waterway for old Xiangshan, it linked the shared cultural heritage of Caobian and Beitai villages. But over time, it faded from prominence. Today, thanks to measures including sewage diversion, water circulation and ecological bank restoration, the river has regained its vitality, drawn visitors back, and earned the nickname "ten-mile gallery." This is Beitai River in Zhongshan's South District.
