The government of Zhongshan's Sanxiang signed an investment agreement with food brand Mealboss on September 3, bringing the Qinglian Food Industrial Base project to the town.

Xu Mingshu, chairman of Zhejiang-based Qinglian Food Co, said Mealboss will set up project companies for food production and brand operations respectively to create its "dual headquarters" for production and marketing in South China.

Situated in the intelligent meat processing industrial park in southern Zhongshan, it will build a pig industry base that integrates slaughtering, processing and brand retailing.

Qinglian Food has been deeply involved in the pig industry chain for more than two decades. Its Mealboss brand, positioned as the "black pork expert," has served the Shanghai World Expo and the Hangzhou Asian Games, and has supplied meat products to China's polar research vessel "Xue Long" for over a decade.
