A special recruitment fair for youth under the "Millions of Talents Gather in Guangdong" initiative was held at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute, on September 19.

The event brought together 113 leading enterprises from across Guangdong province, offering about 2,200 positions and attracting nearly 5,000 young jobseekers.

One of the highlights was the integration of recruitment with a youth market. Positions covered R&D, marketing, sales and production, and employers included central enterprises, local state-owned enterprises and private listed companies. Most roles offered a starting salary of more than 4,000 yuan, with a minimum requirement of a college diploma.

Thirty-one booths run by young entrepreneurs brought together startup founders from 19 Guangdong cities. They showcased their achievements and shared their startup stories face to face with university students.
