Students who have enrolled at Zhongshan Technician College, Zhongshan Industry and Trade Vocational School or Zhongshan Qihang Technical School and met relevant conditions can enjoy four major subsidies and apply for tuition exemption, student grant, cost-of-living allowance and etc, according to the Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

The four major subsidies include tuition exemption, state-sponsored student grant, cost-of-living allowance for those in the poor student list, and the school-level subsidies comprising assistance, award, loan, allowance, reduction, exemption, and work-study.

The tuition exemption standard ranges from 3,300 to 4,300 yuan per year per student, with the specific amount of exemption subject to the school category and the major.

According to the requirements, among the full-time students of grade one, two and three for the technical colleges, students from villages (including counties and towns), urban students majoring in agriculture, and poor students (except for the art-related students) all meet the application requirements.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, technical colleges will open up the green channel for students from poor families, prioritize their enrollments, selections of majors, the order-oriented training classes of deep cooperation with enterprise, tuition-free, bursary, scholarship and other student aid policies, internships, and employment.
